Shima Spain Village will be partially renovating the Javier Castle Museum, where visitors can learn about Spanish history and culture, starting Saturday, April 18, 2026.
A new exhibition on the first floor will focus on the Sagrada Familia, whose main tower is scheduled to be completed in 2026, and will be dedicated to the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi, who passed away 100 years ago.
Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926) was an architect who worked mainly in Barcelona, Spain.
Not only the Sagrada Familia, but also Park Güell, Casa Mila, Casa Barró and other works are known as World Heritage Sites, and the unique design characterized by its colorful and curved surfaces, as well as the fact that the Sagrada Familia has been under construction for over 140 years, continue to fascinate people from all over the world.
The newly established "Gaudi Corner" will feature exhibits that interpret Gaudi's ideas and design principles, with a focus on the Sagrada Familia, which is now nearing the final stages of construction. The exhibits will include panels introducing the sculptures that adorn the "Nativity Façade," which expresses the joy of the birth of Jesus Christ, as well as a model that illustrates the church's structure and design.
In addition, the videos in each exhibition corner on the second floor will be updated, and a new exhibition room for the Spanish classic "Don Quixote" will be created.
This is the first time the exhibits have been renovated since the park opened in 1994.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience Spain's rich culture and art.
