On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the Javier Castle Museum within Shima Spain Village will reopen after renovations.
This renovation includes a new exhibition focusing on Antoni Gaudí, one of Spain's most renowned architects.
A new exhibition area will be set up, focusing on the Sagrada Familia, which is scheduled to be completed in 2026, and introducing Gaudí's ideas and design principles.
In addition, limited-edition menus, related merchandise, and special accommodation plans will be available to commemorate the renewal.
Furthermore, from Saturday, April 25th to Thursday, April 30th, there will be a limited-time performance of "Sevillanas," a folk dance from southern Spain.
This spring, why not visit Shima Spain Village and experience Spanish history and culture while enjoying the newly renovated Javier Castle Museum?
On the first floor, a new "Gaudi Corner" has been created where visitors can experience the world of Gaudi, centering on the Sagrada Familia.
The exhibition features a variety of displays, including panels introducing the sculptures that adorn the "Nativity Facade," which expresses the joy of the birth of Jesus Christ, and models that conceive of the church's structure and design.
Additionally, a new exhibition room will be set up on the second floor where visitors can enjoy the world of the Spanish masterpiece "Don Quixote," which also serves as the motif for Shima Spain Village's characters, through videos and panels.
*Due to renovation work, some exhibits at Javier Castle Museum will be unavailable from February 14th (Sat) to March 31st (Tue), 2026.
Additionally, the entire facility will be closed from Wednesday, April 1st to Friday, April 17th, 2026.
