Shima Mediterranean Village in Hamajima-cho, Shima City, will be completely renovating its popular "Wanwan Suite Room," a room where guests can stay with their dogs, and will begin offering it from May 15, 2026.
In this renovation, we have improved the comfort and safety of dogs and the convenience of their owners, based on feedback from our past guests.

These are two limited-edition private villas located within the iconic white townscape of Shima Mediterranean Village, designed exclusively for guests traveling with their dogs.
This villa-style property is available for private rental and features a spacious 120 square meter living area with a bedroom on the first floor and a living room on the second floor.
During your stay, you can freely explore the beautiful streets, which change their appearance day and night, with your beloved dog, and enjoy an extraordinary experience that makes you feel as if you are traveling through a Mediterranean town.
We have lifted the previous restriction on dogs using the bedroom.
By allowing your beloved dog to share the same space, we aim to provide a more reassuring and comfortable stay.
While we generally do not allow dogs in the restaurant for dinner or breakfast, we have now prepared a new breakfast option that you can enjoy in your room with your dog.
Enjoy a relaxing morning with your dog without worrying about disturbing others, thanks to our take-out box-style breakfast that can be enjoyed in your room.
Additionally, you can continue to enjoy light meals with your dog at the in-house cafe (9:00 AM - 17:30 PM).
We have revised our previous pet limit, and now allow up to 3 small or medium-sized dogs, and up to 2 large dogs, to stay at the same time.

We designed the rooms to allow guests to enjoy their time in the rooms and to explore the village itself.
