On Saturday, April 18, 2026, the resort facility "NEMU RESORT" located in Shima City will reopen after renovations.
Located within Ise-Shima National Park and situated on a vast 250-hectare site, this resort offers a stay-type experience surrounded by lush forests and the tranquil scenery of Ago Bay, allowing guests to experience the beauty of nature throughout the seasons. With this renovation, the resort has evolved into a space where guests can feel a deeper connection to nature, based on the theme of "village, sea, and forest."

As accommodations that allow guests to experience the nature of Ise-Shima up close, a total of 18 new buildings have been added: 8 "Hills Villas" and 10 "Forest Villas".
Each villa boasts approximately 81 square meters of space, including a wooden deck, allowing you to enjoy a private stay in a tranquil environment surrounded by forest and the sea. A view bath and terrace are also provided, where you can enjoy a barbecue using local ingredients.
Furthermore, the hotel is equipped with a telescope and a record player, creating a luxurious experience of stargazing and enjoying music. Facilities are also available to accommodate long-term stays.
Furthermore, the existing Forest Villas have been renovated and rebranded as "Forest Villa DOG," allowing guests to stay with their dogs.
