For those traveling to Shima by Kintetsu Railway, we will begin operating the "Kofu Shirahama VIEW Taxi" service connecting Ugata Station and Kofu Shirahama (Shima Park Golf Course) from Saturday, July 18, 2026.
The fare is 1,500 yen per taxi for a one-way trip. (Normally, a one-way trip costs around 3,500 to 5,000 yen.)
Kofu Shirahama is a beautiful beach stretching for approximately 3 km, and is a popular spot for swimming and surfing.
Cafes and surf shops are scattered along the coast, and you can enjoy a stroll in a relaxed atmosphere.
Additionally, you can use the electric scooter "LUUP" to explore the beach, visit cafes, or enjoy shopping, spending your time however you like.
Take this opportunity to use the "Kofu Shirahama VIEW Taxi" and fully enjoy the charm of the surf town of Kofu Shirahama.

If you present your Kintetsu train ticket or other proof of travel at the Shima City Tourist Information Center (on the ticket gate level of Ugata Station), you will receive a taxi voucher.
Please inform the driver that you are using the "Kofu Shirahama VIEW Taxi" service when you board the taxi.
*You cannot ride for 1,500 yen without a ticket.
*This voucher is only valid on the day it is stamped.
*Only tickets for the day of use will be provided.
Upon arrival, please present your voucher and pay 1,500 yen to the driver.

Please be sure to tell us your boarding location (Shima Park Golf Course).
There is no pick-up fee. The fare to Ugata Station or Kashikojima Station is 1,500 yen per vehicle, the same as the outbound trip.
*Please note that it may take a considerable amount of time for a vehicle to be dispatched. Please allow ample time in your schedule.
・Departure: Ugata Station ・Return: Boarding is not permitted anywhere other than Shima Park Golf Course. Disembarking is only permitted at Kashikojima Station.Please note that you cannot board the bus from Kashikojima.
- When receiving your taxi voucher, if you are using an IC card, QR code ticket, or express train ticket purchased online, you will need to show the screen.
Please use a taxi waiting at Ugata Station.We do not accept reservations.
• Taxis cannot be left waiting at Shima Park Golf Course. We also do not accept reservations for taxis.
The program will end even if it is not yet completed once the subsidy runs out.
