The "Shima-ru-go" sightseeing bus, which tours popular tourist spots in Shima that are difficult to reach by public transport, began operating for a limited time in the fall of 2024 and has been well-received for allowing passengers to enjoy sightseeing while listening to commentary from a tour guide.
We are pleased to announce that this year's operational plan has been finalized.
In addition to our existing courses, we will be adding two new courses.
1) Yokoyama Observatory and Shima City Tourist Farm Course (Morning Trip) and 2) Ama-no-Iwato and Izawa Shrine Course (Afternoon Trip) *New Course
Previously, only Route 1 operated twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. However, this year we will be adding Route 2, with Route 1 operating as the morning service and Route 2 as the afternoon service.

There is no public transportation connecting these lighthouses, but this bus allows you to efficiently visit both of them.
The name "Dai" from Daiozaki and "An" from Anorisaki combine to form the auspicious word "Daian," reflecting the hope that visiting both lighthouses will bring good fortune.
