We are looking for participating restaurants for the "Toba Kawachi Dam Curry Stamp Rally," themed around the "Toba Kawachi Dam" currently under construction on the Toba Kawachi River in Toba City!
This year, in addition to the "Toba Kawachi Dam Curry" that we have offered in the past, we are also looking for restaurants that can offer a variety of "dam-themed gourmet" dishes.

This is a flood control dam currently under construction by Mie Prefecture on the Toba-Kawachi River in Toba City.
The project aims to prevent and mitigate flooding in the river basin, and is scheduled for completion in fiscal year 10.
It is a rare type of "run-of-river dam" in Japan, as it does not normally store water.
"Dam Curry" is a local curry dish sold in various parts of Japan, inspired by dams.
Toba-Kawachi Dam has been serving "Toba-Kawachi Dam Curry" since October 8, 2024.
In this recruitment drive, we are looking for restaurants that can offer not only curry but also a variety of "dam-themed gourmet" dishes inspired by the dam, with the aim of further increasing awareness of the Tobagawachi Dam.
The menu can be anything you can imagine, from dam ramen, dam omelet rice, dam bread/dam curry bread, dam cake, dam breakfast, and more.

Participating restaurants will give customers who dine there a "Toba Kawachi Dam Limited Edition Card".
The front of the card will feature a photo of the Tobagawachi Dam, and the back will feature a photo of the "Tobagawachi Dam Curry/Dam Gourmet" served at the restaurant.
This event allows you to enjoy dam-themed gourmet food while also experiencing the charm of the Tobagawachi Dam!

The Okihiki ceremony, which is part of the Shikinen Sengu (period rebuilding of the shrine) ceremony held at Izushi Shrine in Isobe-cho, Shima City, will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026.
This is a folk event that has been passed down for generations in Isobe-cho, Shima City, in which local people work together to pull timber for the government.
We are currently looking for people to participate in this event.
This is a rare opportunity to experience Shima's traditional culture, so please come and join us.
"Okihiki" is a traditional event that originated from the Shinto ritual of pulling timber for the shrine's Shikinen Sengu (period reconstruction of the shrine), in which local people join forces to pull the timber forward.
It has been cherished and passed down as a folk event that conveys Shima's culture and history to the present day.

As part of the 80th anniversary of the designation of Ise-Shima National Park, an experience ride on the tall ship Nippon Maru will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
This experiential cruise is designed to allow children to experience the maritime culture, rich nature, and history unique to Ise-Shima, as well as to raise their interest in the natural environment and foster an awareness of environmental conservation for the future.
We are currently looking for participants for a trial cruise.
