NEMU RESORT, a resort facility located in Hamajimacho, Shima City, will undergo partial renovations and expand its services, and will reopen on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
As a resort that takes advantage of the rich natural environment within Ise-Shima National Park, the facility will be reborn as a more comfortable and diverse facility with a theme of "village, sea, and forest."
This renovation includes the addition of a new pickleball court.
Pickleball is a sport that incorporates elements of tennis, table tennis, and badminton, and has been gaining attention in recent years because it is easy for even beginners to enjoy.
This will further expand the range of activities you can enjoy during your stay.
In addition to the popular experience programs that have been offered thus far, such as marine taxi rides around Ago Bay, nature observation, and stargazing, there are also plans to enhance services, such as offering meals made with ingredients from Ise-Shima and starting lunch service.
The renovation of NEMU RESORT is attracting attention as an initiative that will increase the appeal of the tourist destination in the Shima area.

NEMU RESORT will be selling a day trip plan exclusively for Shima residents, called the "Lunch, Land Car & Hot Spring Bathing Plan," from Monday to Friday from September 2025, 9 to December 1, 2025.
