Pearl Festival (70th)

The 2024th Pearl Festival will be held at Maruyama Park on Tuesday, October 10, 22.

The Pearl Festival is an event held in Ago Bay and Kashikojima, the birthplace of pearls, to pray for the souls of Akoya oysters, whose lives end when pearls are born, and for the promotion of the pearl farming industry.

To commemorate the decision to have Shima City Ago Arena as the venue for the ceremony and event of the 7th National Convention for Creating a Rich Ocean, which will be held in the fall of 44 this year, a "Chibikko Dance" and "Akoya Oyster Handover Ceremony" will be held, sponsored by the Citizens' Council for the 44th National Convention for Creating a Rich Ocean.

Please invite your family and friends to join us.
