MIYABI ALOHA [Ago Arena]

"MIYABI ALOHA by i HALA" will be held at Ago Arena (Bay Hall) on Saturday, March 2025, 3.

Message from the organizer

"MIYABI ALOHA by i HALA" launched in 2023 with the concept of authentic Hawaii.

This event is hosted by Bill Keoua Nelsen, the 8th generation successor of Lauhala weaving, one of the few Native Hawaiians who has passed down the traditional culture that has been carefully handed down from his predecessors in Hawaii to the next generation. He is also one of the few Native Hawaiians who has passed down the tradition not only in Hawaii but also in Japan and other parts of the world, and is an essential part of understanding Hawaii's history.

This is not just any Hawaiian event, but an event where you can experience Hawaii in the authentic way.
This is also the only lauhala weaving workshop where you can feel close to the organizers and have direct contact with them.
Also not to be missed are the stage performances by local hula and ukulele classes as well as performers from all over the country.
There will be merchandise booths with people from all over the country, including some from Hawaii, so please look forward to it.
This year, the food trucks are also beefing up their Hawaiian food offerings.
We look forward to seeing you there.
