A plant dyeing class will be held at the Yokoyama Visitor Center on Sunday, June 2025, 6.
Plant dyeing is a method of dyeing fabric by boiling materials such as plants. Cherry blossom branches produce pink, bamboo leaves produce pale green, black beans produce pale purple, and more.
This time, we will be trying our hand at plant dyeing using mugwort, which grows wild on roadsides this time of year.
I think the colors will be beautiful, so please come and join us.
