[Event] 8th Retreat x SDGs ~ 44th National Ocean Creation Conference Commemorative Event ~ [NEMU RESORT]

The 2025th Retreat x SDGs will be held at NEMU RESORT on Sunday, September 9, 28.
To commemorate the National Conference for Creating a Rich Ocean, a variety of programs will be held on the themes of coexistence with nature and a sustainable future.

There are plenty of workshops and experiential events that parents and children can enjoy together, bringing the SDGs closer to home!
Why not take this opportunity to refresh your mind and body in the natural surroundings of Shima?

Main program introductions (excerpts)

NEMU Marche (11:00-14:00) [Targeted dates: 8, 12, 17]

Local ingredients, craft goods, and workshops will be gathered together! Popular stores from Shima City and neighboring areas will be participating.
*In case of rain, the venue will be changed to an indoor venue.

Beach clean-up experience (9:30-11:00) [Goals 11, 14, 15, 17]

We will clean up the beach at NEMU RESORT while learning about nature from the perspective of the SDGs.
*Reservation required / Cancelled in case of rain

SDGs Quiz Rally (11:00-14:00) [Goal 3]

A fun and educational quiz rally using INE. Participation is free!

Yoga experience (morning yoga/sunset yoga) [Goal 3]

Authentic yoga lessons surrounded by nature. Beginners are also welcome.
* Reservation required

Pizza making experience (starting at 11:00) [Target: April 4th]

A pizza-making experience that parents and children can participate in and experience the natural beauty of Satoyama.

Nissan Waku Waku Eco School

You can learn about global warming and electric vehicles in a fun way through experiments.

Mikimoto Pearl & Cosmetics Experience (11:00~/13:00~)

Workshops on eco-friendly initiatives and product creation using pearl ingredients.
* Reservation required

SDGs exhibition: Making a kaleidoscope using natural materials (in cooperation with Tohoku University)

Create your own kaleidoscope using natural materials such as herbs and beans. Participation is free (first come, first served).
