[Event] Shima Road Party Half Marathon 2026

The Shima Road Party Half Marathon 2026, a sports event where you can fully enjoy the unique charms of Shima, such as the spectacular views of Ago Bay and the exotic buildings of Shima Spain Village, will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

There are a variety of events available for everyone to participate in, from beginners to experienced runners, including the "Half Marathon" where you can experience the approximately 100m elevation difference of the famous Pearl Road, the "Parque Party Run" which goes around Shima Spain Village Parque Espana and allows participants to wear costumes, and the "Barrier-Free Party Run" which has a course that turns around Matoya Bay Bridge.

Additionally, on the day before the race, there will be a "Shima Furumai Walk" where participants can walk while enjoying the scenic scenery of Shima and taste Ise-Shima gourmet food after reaching the finish line.

Entries are being accepted until Monday, March 16th.

Both the half marathon and 10km courses allow you to enjoy the view from Matoya Bay Bridge and are challenging courses that allow you to experience the elevation changes of Pearl Road.
Both events will be measured by net time (time from crossing the starting line). For the half marathon, timed checkpoints will be set.
The barrier-free party run will be a 2.5km course that turns around at the north end of Matoya Bay Bridge.

Parque Partiran (approx. 3km)

Parque Party Run has a course that goes around Shima Spain Village. Part of the course is built into the park, allowing the whole family to participate, from adults to children, as a division where you can enjoy the exotic atmosphere of Shima Spain Village while running. Participants in costume are also welcome.

There will be no ranking awards, but a special award will be given.

*For the half marathon and 10km runners, in addition to the time from the starting gun, the time from crossing the starting line (net time) will be measured.
*Runners who are unable to pass the checkpoints before they are closed will be asked to withdraw from the race. Runners who are significantly delayed even when not at a checkpoint may be asked to withdraw from the race.
*For Parque Party Run, up to two infants (younger than elementary school age) may participate per participant who is a junior high school student or older (number cards and original event goods are not available). Infants are not allowed to participate alone.
*Due to natural disasters or other reasons, competitions and associated events may be scaled back, changed, or canceled. Please see the tournament website for details.
