Anorisaki Lighthouse in Shima City is one of the few "lighthouses you can climb (lighthouses open to visitors)" in Japan, and Shima City is the only municipality in the country that has two such lighthouses open to visitors.
Among them, the Anorisaki Lighthouse, with its distinctive square shape, is a popular spot enjoyed by many for its views of the rough waves of the open sea and the beautiful scenery.
In February 2026, the Anorisaki Lighthouse Museum, located next to the lighthouse, underwent renovations.
A new community space has been developed to serve as a "hub where people gather," connecting local residents and visitors.
We are pleased to announce "Anorisaki Lighthouse Museum Night vol.1," an event utilizing the newly renovated museum and its surrounding area.
Enjoy the magical charm of Anori Cape, which is different from the daytime, with lighthouse illuminations, movie screenings, and food stalls.
In addition, volunteers will be asked to clean the area around the venue in preparation for the event.
This is an opportunity to protect the beautiful natural environment while also participating in community activities.
We would greatly appreciate your cooperation.
