On Saturday, July 11, 2026, the "ONE WAVE" event, where you can enjoy a summer night by the sea, will be held around the Kofu-no-hama Rest House in Ago-cho, Shima City.
On the day of the event, a variety of activities will be held, including a market where you can enjoy local gourmet food and sweets, workshops utilizing marine plastics, beach yoga, and outdoor movie screenings.
Why not spend some relaxing time in nature, surrounded by the sound of waves?
"ONE WAVE" is a project launched with the aim of making it easier for more people to visit Kokufu Beach, a popular surfing destination, by introducing ways to enjoy the area other than surfing.
Last year we held yoga and various other workshops, but this year we will be holding them in a slightly different format in August and October.
From kids to adults, surfers and non-surfers alike.
The diverse people who gather on the beach can spend time being themselves in nature.
This project will continue on a smaller scale from next year onwards, aiming to become "something that is part of everyday life in Kokufu."
