Shima Oinai! Tourist Train Gathering "Ama-san Train" will be running again this year (2024)

Please note that the "Ama-san Train" service on August 8th (Saturday) and 10th (Sunday) has been cancelled due to the announcement of a Nankai Trough Earthquake Emergency Information (Massive Earthquake Warning) by the Japan Meteorological Agency.

The Shima Oinai! Tourist Train Gathering "Ama-san Train" on August 8 (Saturday) and September 31 (Sunday) will be suspended due to the approach of Typhoon No. 9. We apologize for the inconvenience.


Starting Saturday, August 8th, the Shima Oinai! "Women Diving Train" will be in operation.

The "Tourist Train Gathering" has active female divers on board who will tell you some valuable stories and hold a female divers' clothing try-on and commemorative photo session.

There will also be a host of unique events on board, such as a model hearth at a diver's hut, free servings of green laver soup, a diver quiz, and a raffle with luxurious prizes!

Shima brand certified products such as fried rice crackers, green laver tide jelly, and akamoku thin udon noodles will also be sold on board the train.

On board the train, the Shima City Tourism Association will be selling Shima brand certified products, such as Shima City's local specialties "Aosa Shio Yokan," "Fried Rice Crackers," and "Akamoku Thin Udon."
