Chinkaido Co., Ltd. is a company that manufactures and sells seafood products and souvenirs, with a history of over 100 years, founded in 1919 (Taisho 8) in Toba City, Mie Prefecture.
Since our founding, we have continued to create products that utilize the abundant blessings of the sea in Ise-Shima, based on the idea of "delivering the gifts of Ise-Shinto to the whole country."
In 1928, they pioneered the "direct from the source" initiative, packing live spiny lobsters into boxes and shipping them nationwide. Today, they continue to promote the value of local resources, including spiny lobsters.
Currently, we offer a wide range of original products that utilize ingredients unique to the Ise-Shima region, including spiny lobster crackers, spiny lobster oil, spiny lobster potage, spiny lobster dashi chazuke (rice with broth), and oyster shigure (a type of simmered dish).
Furthermore, we use spiny lobsters sourced through auctions at local fisheries cooperatives, and we are thorough in everything from ingredient selection to quality control, ensuring that we deliver safe, secure, and high-quality products nationwide.
