A giant votive tablet dedicated to wishing for a good catch of natural tiger puffer fish “Anorifugu” in Mie

"Anori Fugu" is a natural tiger puffer fish landed in the Anori area, and is certified by the prefecture as a Mie brand along with "Ise shrimp" and "Matoya oyster". The local inn association dedicates votive tablets at the end of every year, wishing for a good catch of "Anorifugu", and this year will be the 16th time. The votive tablet is approximately 2.7 meters long and 3.6 meters wide, and features depictions of next year's zodiac sign, the rabbit, in addition to "Anori Fugu." This ema will be placed on the approach to the shrine until mid-February next year.
