Precautions

Before participating in this competition, please read the following and apply.

1. You must comply with all terms, rules, and instructions set by the tournament organizer.
2. Please pay close attention to your own health management, and in the event of death, injury, or other accident that occurs while participating in the tournament or other ancillary events, you will be responsible for handling all matters at your own risk. Please pledge not to criticize or hold responsible anyone involved in the tournament, including the administrator, official officers, staff, and participating players. This does not change even if the accident was caused by the organizer.
3. During the tournament and its ancillary events, participants are solely responsible for their own belongings and equipment.
Four. Participants will be given permission to freely use their names and photos in newspapers, broadcasts, broadcasts, etc. related to the tournament, as well as sponsors and organizers.
Five. The tournament may be canceled due to heavy rain, strong winds, other weather conditions, the spread of infectious diseases, or other unavoidable reasons. Please note that the participation fee will not be refunded in that case. The same shall apply in the case of non-participation due to personal reasons. If the tournament is canceled, we will notify you on the official website.
6. Participants agree to use their personal information to the extent necessary for related event information and various services.

Terms

[Compliance with tournament regulations]
If you do not comply with the tournament regulations and do not improve even after receiving a warning from tournament officials, you may be asked to cancel your participation.

[Vehicle type regulations]
・Bicycles that participants can use must be free type and have complete front and rear brakes.
・The bicycle used must be strong enough to withstand high speed riding and must be well maintained.
・Participation on electrically assisted bicycles is permitted as long as they meet the above regulations.
・Vehicle inspection will not be conducted at the venue on the day of the event. Please complete a safety inspection in advance.
・This event is open to road bikes, cross bikes, electric assist bikes, city bikes, mini velo bikes, mounted bikes, and cyclocross.
*Towing by bicycle or riding with two people is not allowed.
*Participation may be refused if the organizer deems it dangerous.

【Equipment】
Always wear a bicycle helmet while riding.

[Bib]
The number written on the bib is the participant's individual registration number.
It will be used by tournament officials to confirm your identity, so please be sure to wear it on your clothing (at the chest position).

[About bicycle management, theft, and damage]
The organizer assumes no responsibility in the event of theft or damage.
Please take care of your bicycle by yourself, such as locking it. *Other tools will not be rented.

[About aid stations]
Set up aid stations on the course.
Make sure to replenish your energy and take a break at the aid stations.

[Compliance with traffic rules]
≪Driving at an intersection≫
Please obey the traffic rules and help ensure smooth operation of bicycles and cars.
Also, if there are pedestrians crossing the road, please yield to them.
≪Driving on the left side≫
For safety reasons, please keep to the left when driving on the course.
≪Prohibition of parallel running and meandering≫
On all courses, running parallel to other participants is prohibited as it will obstruct traffic. Meandering is also prohibited.
≪Stop≫
When stopping on the course, be sure to check the safety in front and behind you, signal to those behind you, pull to the edge, stop slowly, and move to a safe place.
≪Be careful of vehicles behind≫
Please be careful of vehicles behind you while driving. Please use your own eyes and ears to check if there is a vehicle behind you.
≪About two-stage right turn≫
According to traffic regulations, at intersections where a two-step right turn is required, make a two-step right turn.
Participants will also be asked to make two-step right turns at intersections deemed necessary by the organizer.

[About accidents and injuries while driving]
≪If an accident occurs while driving≫
If you are involved in an accident or injured, or if you witness it, be sure to contact support staff or a sentry. If you cannot find the support staff or guard, please contact the tournament secretariat directly.
*If it is an emergency, please call 110 or 119 yourself.
≪Bring your health insurance card≫
Please bring your health insurance card.
≪About insurance for tournament participants≫
Although we have accident insurance for participants, please note that compensation for participants is within the scope of the accident insurance taken out for the event. (The insurance fee will be paid by the organizer.)
Death/residual disability 1000 million yen
Upon hospitalization (daily amount) 5000 yen
Hospital visit (daily amount) 3000 yen
The compensation period is only for the day of the competition (from the start to the finish line).
≪If the participant has his or her own insurance≫
If participants have their own insurance, depending on the type of insurance, a police traffic accident certificate may be required.

[Request to all participants (corona countermeasures)]
At this event, we ask for everyone's understanding and cooperation in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
・Please measure your body temperature before going out and refrain from participating if you are feeling unwell or have a fever.
・Please wear a mask at reception, at the start, and after the finish line. We ask for your cooperation in wearing masks depending on the situation. If you do not have a mask, you will not be able to participate.
・Please spread out your visit to avoid crowds.
・Please disinfect your hands.
■If any of the following apply to you, please refrain from participating and refrain from going out.
・Those who are not feeling well
・If you have a family member or close acquaintance who has symptoms such as fever or cough
・Those who have traveled to or had contact with residents of countries or regions where the government has imposed entry restrictions or observation periods within the past 14 days.
■When participating, please cooperate by registering with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Contact App (COCOA).
■We will conduct body temperature checks for all participants upon participation. If you have a fever of 37.5 degrees or higher, you will be refused participation. Please also note that we will refuse to participate if you are unable to cooperate with temperature measurement or if you are found to be unwell.
■Please help prevent infection by wearing a mask. *Please wear as necessary while cycling.
■Be sure to wash your hands frequently and disinfect your hands with alcohol, etc.
■When lining up at the venue, aid station, etc., please keep a distance of 2m (minimum 1m) from other participants and staff.
■Please be careful of the 3 Cs (closed spaces, crowded spaces, and close quarters).
■Please refrain from talking in a loud voice or touching each other.
■Participation will be refused to those who do not cooperate with the measures and instructions decided by the organizer.
■If you feel unwell while participating, please cancel without overdoing it.

[About the decision to hold the event due to the spread of the new coronavirus]
In order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus and ensure safe and secure operations, we will use the following criteria in accordance with the "Mie Prefecture Guidelines" and Shima City's criteria for holding events related to the new coronavirus infection.
■No state of emergency has been declared.
(1) If a state of emergency is declared in Mie Prefecture during the event period → Cancellation decision
(2) If an event related to the new coronavirus infection occurs other than the above, the decision will be made after consultation.
*If participants are requested to refrain from self-restraint due to a declaration of a state of emergency or priority measures to prevent the spread of disease in their area on the day of the event, please make a decision to participate based on the details of the request in the area.
*Please note that the event may be canceled or postponed, or the content of the event may be changed depending on the spread of the new coronavirus.
