In order to further increase the momentum of cycle tourism in the Ise-Shima region, Kintetsu will install a cycle stand in the second car of the tourist train "Tsui" and operate a cycle train where you can load your own bicycle directly onto the train. . This train allows you to seamlessly enjoy cycling in the Ise-Shima area from various locations along our line, so it is a train that everyone who enjoys cycling should definitely take.
In addition, this train has been named the tourist train ``Tsdoi'' Cycle Train - KettA - (nickname: KettA). KettA is a nickname derived from the word "ketta (machine)" which means bicycle in the dialect of the Tokai region, and is intended to be the perfect train for enjoying cycling in the Tokai region, including the Ise-Shima area. I put my wish into it. In the future, in addition to the conventional event trains, we plan to operate KettA as a new style of sightseeing train "Tsdoi" during the spring and autumn seasons, which are suitable for cycling.
Prior to full-scale operation starting this spring, a free test ride will be held between Kintetsu Nagoya Station and Kashijima Station on Saturday, March 2023th and Sunday, March 3th, 4. We are looking forward to your applications! Additionally, on March 5th (Saturday), a KettA unveiling party and an event sponsored by the Shima City Tourism Association will be held at Kakajima Station.
