If you want to paint the Pacific Ocean, this is the place to go.

There is a small park on the way up the hill to the Daiozaki Lighthouse.
The park has a bronze statue of an old painter, and the view from here of the white lighthouse, the Sea of Kumano, and the Pacific Ocean gives visitors the impression that they want to paint.
