Satoumian - Ama Hut Experience Facility

Fresh seafood from Ise-Shima & Ama fishing stories

Ama huts are places for divers to rest their tired bodies from fishing and to warm themselves by a fire.
They enjoy spending time around the fire place located in the center of the hut, warming themselves, eating, and chatting.
Why don't you come experience a moment in such an ama hut?
At the divers' hut experience facility Satomian, you can enjoy fresh seafood such as lobsters, abalones, and turban shells caught in the sea of Ise-Shima and "tekonezushi," a local dish of Shima, while listening to a story about divers' fishing, which is usually hard to hear.
