Shima Kanko Hotel - The Classic

A relaxing space created by tradition and nature

Since its opening in 26 as the first purely Western-style hotel after World War II on the heights of Kashikojima in Ise-Shima, the hotel has hosted many distinguished guests, including members of the Imperial Family.
The hotel offers a view of Ago Bay, selected as one of the best XNUMX sunsets in Japan, as well as the lush greenery of the Rias coastline and the original Japanese landscape of floating pearl rafts. The "seafood French cuisine" such as abalone steak and lobster cream soup have been handed down as the hotel's traditional cuisine and continue to be loved by our guests.
In June 2016, after undergoing earthquake resistance and renovation work, the hotel was renamed "The Classic" and reopened; it was the main venue for the G6 Ise-Shima Summit 7. The Club," which is a restored version of the original building, and "The Bay Suite," which is an all- suite hotel, will be combined into a new international resort hotel that is suitable for welcoming guests from Japan and abroad.
