The Pearl Memorial Festival is held on October 10nd every year to commemorate the memorial service for pearls.

Daiosaki Lighthouse

This chalk lighthouse towering at the tip of Daiozaki was built in 2.

Mugisaki Lighthouse

A place where you can hear the sea flute of Ama divers

The southernmost tip of Shima Town, Shima City. The Pacific Ocean stretches out, and you can see Fuseda Kojima and Wagu Oshima.
The lighthouse has a chalk exterior and watches over ships navigating the Fuseda Channel.
During the ama diving season, it is known as a place where you can often hear the sound of the sea flute played by the ama divers as they take a breather.

Parrot rock

The megaliths transmit the voices spoken in the "narration area" to the "listening area" 50 meters away!

It's amazing how it sounds as if the rocks are talking. The summit is a spectacular spot where you can see the Pacific Ocean in the distance.

This stone statue of Jizo has been enshrined in this lake since ancient times, connecting sentient beings with the Buddha. One day, he stood in old man Yashichi's dream pillow,
``I am Jizo Bodhisattva of Gozaura.'' ``Those who pray with all their heart will be cured of diseases below the waist.I have a place where I can soak in seawater, and I will always wash away sufferings on behalf of all people.'' Don't move me anywhere."
Since then, people who are suffering from illnesses below the waist, those who want to conceive a child, and those who pray for a safe delivery have made their own wishes and prayed here.

Ebisu statue with nose

The first Shinto ritual is held in January.

Ebisu is beneficial for large catches and maritime safety. The custom of carving off the nose and using it as a talisman still exists to this day, as fishermen would remove the end of the fish so that they could get to the fishing spot quickly.

What is the Kuki Suigun Tomb?

Nakiri Castle, a natural fortress built by the Kuki clan, who were active as sailors during the Sengoku period, took advantage of the topography of the cape, was once located in this area.
Currently, Senyu-ji Temple in the Nakiri district has a five-ring pagoda with an inscription of the Kuki clan engraved on it.
