“Manhole wrapping created in collaboration with local companies and high school students” is on display at Daio Art Gallery
Manhole wrapping, which involves drawing pictures on the lids of sewers, has recently been gaining attention on social networking services (SNS) such as Instagram. In Shima City, manhole wrappings with Pokemon (Mijumaru and Pearluru) drawn on them were installed at Yawata-san Park in Daiozaki, and became a hot topic.
This time, Daio Art Gallery is exhibiting ``Manhole Wrapping for Septic Tank Lid'', which was created by local companies and high school students working together to see if they could do something to revitalize the area, in the lobby on the first floor.
