A party to enjoy cherry blossoms, rice cakes, and famous water [Amanoiwato]

On Sunday, March 2025, 3, a cherry blossom viewing event called "Enjoying Cherry Blossoms, Mochi, and Famous Water" will be held at the site of the former teahouse (at the entrance to Amanoiwato).

Located in the ruins of a tea house at the entrance to the old road over Osaka, there is a giant cherry tree that is over 360 years old and is designated as a natural monument by Shima City, as well as events such as early mochi pounding and tea tasting from famous waters.

Enjoy a luxurious cherry blossom viewing experience while taking photos and tasting exquisite rice cakes and tea.

Public transportation: 20 minutes walk from Mie Kotsu “Amanoiwato Exit”
Car: 32 minutes from Ise Nishi I.C. on Ise Expressway via Ise Road (Prefectural Route 20)

Please enter "Ama no Iwato (Erihara Wind Cave)" into your car navigation system. Pass through the stone torii gate near the Mie Kotsu bus stop "Amanoiwatoguchi" along Prefectural Route 32 (Ise Road) and go straight for about 2km (about 5 minutes).
*Large buses are not allowed to enter for the road is too narrow.
