The 2025th Yokoyama Sakura Festival will be held at the Yokoyama Sakura Garden in Sozo-no-Mori on Saturday, March 3, 22. (*Postponed to Saturday, March 20 in case of rain)
At the venue, you can enjoy a variety of stage events, including the annual Okushima Ondo and healthy exercise recitals, as well as a Sakura concert, hula dancing, and erhu performances.
The sales corner has a wide selection of Shima's specialties, including tekone sushi, oyster rice, and horse mackerel tekone. There will also be a free serving of warm aosa soup.
The event will conclude with a lavish candy throwing ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Showa era!
