Anorisaki lighthouse

A square lighthouse that can be visited, which is rare in Japan. If the weather is nice, you can see Mt. Fuji.

From the lighthouse, you can see the contrast between the calm waves of Matoya Bay and the rough waves of the Pacific Ocean.
How about relaxing at a cafe that is popular for sweets made with Shima's local snack, ``Kinko'' (dried sweet potatoes)?
The surrounding area is a grassy area where children can have fun playing.
It was the setting for the movie ``How Many Years of Joy and Sorrow''.
